A Day in the Life The IT Developer role is assigned to Medtronic Owned NGC Medical S.r.L Organization part of Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Organization. The role will support the development and maintenance of software systems devoted to supporting the operations of NGC Medical activities and processes. You'll be part of the IT group and report directly to the Senior IT manager in Italy. The role will be office based in Turate (with the possibility of smartworking up to 40%).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Evaluate and design, develop, or modify programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems. Develop system design documentation (including GUI (Graphical User Interface) design, if required), perform coding, and test/debug programs. Create ad hoc or bolt-on programs for integrations or functional business teams as needed and develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation for program support. Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science (or Management Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent related fields) and 3+ years of working experience. Fluent in Italian and Intermediate English knowledge. Working experience with REST API, HTML, JavaScript/CSS, ASP.NET and SQL (Structured Query Language) databases. Experience with C# and Web Based Application development. Experience in the applications development and support of integrated business and systems architecture. SW (software) version control systems (i.e. MS DevOps or GIT). Physical Job Requirements:
