In the frame of IRIDE Mission, OHB-I is configuring, procuring, installing, and operating a dedicated New-Space Mission Control Center (MCC), that will be used by OHB-I to manage the Eaglet-2 constellation (10+ satellites) throughout the operational life cycle.
We are seeking an experienced Mission Control System Engineer to lead all the MCC related activities, bringing the Center to its full deployment, both on H/W and associated personnel.
The position requires a significant level of responsibility and autonomy, together with strong leadership and people management skills.
Relevant experience in development and validation of a MCC is a pre-requisite.
Responsibilities Support the definition and the development of the Mission Control Center (MCC), in particular: MCC environment customization Operational Reference Database maintenance Operations Control Panels (AND, SYN, PLOT, etc.)
Satellite Simulator Test Procedures On-board SW Maintenance (OBSM) tool Flight Dynamics (FDS) suite Mission Planning System Contribution to the definition of the relevant documentation and procedures: Ground architecture documentation Mission Operations Concept Document Mission Planning Guidelines Mission Analysis Report Flight Dynamics Databank Space to Ground Interface Control Document (ICD) Ground Segment ICD Flight Operations Manuals (FOM) and Flight Operations Procedures (FOP) Ground Operations Procedures (GOP) Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) Plan Operations Plan Support to System Validation Test (SVT) Plan and Procedures System Operations Validation (SOV) Plan and Procedures Radio-Frequency Compatibility Test (RFCT) Plan and Procedures Platform and Subsystems trend analysis report Support the execution of the following activities: SVT test campaign SOV test campaign LEOP preparation and execution Platform commissioning (In Orbit Test campaign) Payload Commissiong RCFT preparation and execution Skills Experience in the operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities Experience in defining relevant job description, supporting HR in identifying the right fits.
