Role purposeAs an iOS Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of our consumer mobile application. You will be responsible for leading a team of iOS developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features.Key accountabilities and decision ownership • Technical Leadership:
o Oversee the technical design, development, and implementation of iOS features and functionalities.
o Mentor and guide a team of iOS developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies and trends to ensure our application remains cutting-edge.• Project Management:
o Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
o Manage project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
o Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success.• Code Quality:
o Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality and consistency.
o Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
o Implement automated testing and continuous integration to ensure code reliability.• Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, designers, and quality assurance specialists.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.Required competencies, knowledge, and experience• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.• In-depth knowledge of iOS development frameworks, including UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.• Experience with iOS design patterns and architectural approaches (e.g., MVVM, VIPER).• Proven track record of leading and mentoring iOS development teams.• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Nice to have technical and professional qualifications• Experience with mobile app performance optimization and testing.• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).• Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
