As part of its expansion, our client is looking for an Investors Business Development Manager to develop the investors portfolio and place its contemporary art club deals with distributors on the Italian market (e.g. Wealth Managers, Private Banks, Family-Offices, Asset Managers, Insurers, etc.). Responsibilities: Development and implementation of the sales strategy for the various distributor targets; Deployment of marketing actions in coordination with the central marketing team; Prospecting for private and semi-institutional customers (financial intermediaries) and converting leads generated by the central marketing team; Development of partnerships with professional associations of wealth managers, Promotori Finanziare, family offices, and private bankers; Onboarding new distributors and investors; Managing the collection of investments, promotion, and development of relationships with distributors and investors; Applying proven Matis sales approaches and being a proposition force to improve them; Thrive to meet and exceed targets (e.g.: funds collected, number of distributors and direct clients, ); Launch and deployment of the brand in Italy; Opening of the Italian office; Recruitment and management of a team in the medium-term; Reporting regularly to customers on their investments and management on performance; Build productive relationships with other internal teams. Categoria: Financial Services Luogo di lavoro: Italia Requisiti: Demonstrated strong "hunting skills" in BtoB and BtoC sales in a fast-growing company, agile, curious, tenacious and entrepreneurial mindset; 10 years' successful experience in similar or business development in finance or the art market, with private HNWI / UHNWI clients and financial intermediaries in Italy; Excellent relationship building: ability to lead and control a meeting, negotiation, closing and grow a relationship into a long-lasting and fruitful partnership; Master in finance, economics, or asset management; Strong interest in contemporary art and its market; Tech savvy, experienced with digital origination tools.
