The job opening is for an Investor Analyst located in Milan and the successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the role.
As an analyst in Milan, you will have a unique role in supporting the growing Italian business as we expand locally in the region.
Investor Analysts support global investment specialists to provide advisory services and implementation of client investment needs.
They are involved with managing complex client accounts by providing clients with global research, investment advice, products, and trade execution.
Senior Investors also play a critical role in business development efforts.
Investor Analysts will become proficient in providing transaction advice and executing functions across a wide range of financial products and investment solutions.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Cash management/trading for accounts
- Putting together presentations for client meetings and prospects
- Analysing of portfolios and client reporting
- Research on stocks, funds, and investment vehicles
- Ability to make trading recommendations to senior team members based upon research
- Asset allocation analysis and wealth projections
- On top of the daily administrative issues and client queries, the role requires extensive commitment to furthering one's knowledge of investment products, funds, and global economics.
**Skills required**:
- Professional qualifications like the CFA are encouraged
- A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English and Italian - both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills
- Good ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-player
- Strong and visible interest in the financial markets
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
**About You**
A strong interest in global financial markets is essential, as well as possess excellent analytical, organisational, attention-to-detail, communication, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment.
Initiative, enthusiasm and confidence to complete projects are also a must.
This role would suit someone who is looking for an entry level position or has some experience in the financial markets
A well-rounded academic background is important.
You certainly don't need a degree in Economics or Finance, but a good level of numeracy is required.
