Responsibilities As a key pillar of the Société Générale Group's universal banking model, SG CIB supports the economy by playing a key intermediary role, offering broad market access to issuers and smart investment solutions to investors.
The Equity Capital Markets team is a core business of SG's Investment Banking and broader capital markets capabilities and is responsible for the origination and execution of equity capital markets transactions, including equity linked transactions, for our corporate, financial institution and sponsor clients.

Tasks and responsibilities: Work with Managing Directors, Directors, and Vice Presidents to originate and develop new ECM client relationships which will result in equity capital markets transactions.
Collaborate with the broader ECM team, sales, trading, and others to execute ECM transactions for clients.
Prepare ECM knowledge specific client presentations with fine attention to content and detail.
Handle detailed execution responsibilities for public and private equity capital markets transactions both domestically and abroad.
Support origination and execution of transactions including preparation of marketing materials and coordinating with Equity Syndicate, Equity Linked, Industry, and Investment banking teams.
Develop relationships with colleagues abroad and among the Italian coverage and business lines teams.
Manage juniors to keep detailed records of client interactions and tracking, execution timelines, and required client follow-up.
Stay abreast of market developments and provide relevant market updates to the team.
Profile required Studies & experience: MBA or Bachelor's program and degrees in engineering, business, finance, and/or accounting.
Existing Associate with at least 3+ years of prior relevant ECM experience.
Language skills: Proficiency in English and Italian.
Technical, operational & Soft skills: Proficient in corporate financial analysis with the ability to analyze balance sheets, income statements, and perform comparable analysis.
Expertise in necessary software programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience in working with Bloomberg data, Factset, Eikon.
Strong presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
Capacity and desire to understand complex financial structures.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, pressure-oriented environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
Solid interest and understanding of financial markets.
