Whether you are part of negotiating contracts, managing vendors, or forecasting requirements, your role is critical to getting our medicines in the hands of the people who need them most, faster and more efficiently than ever before.You Will AchieveWorking with a dynamic team of procurement experts, you will play an important role in negotiating contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
You will facilitate category management, purchase goods and services for ongoing operations, and manage corporate services.
You will also work with internal clients to identify sourcing needs and define acceptable service levels, develop sourcing strategies, solicit/analyze requests for proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients.As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division.
Your experience in project management will be used while reviewing the status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges, and recommending best practices for improvements.
While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.It is your dedication and leadership that will make it possible for customers and patients to receive the medicines they need, when they need them.How You Will Achieve ItDevelop ideas and lead projects across subdivisions and manage plans to achieve objectives.Provide input into and support global clinical site contracting and budgeting processes and negotiations.Collaborate and support Pfizer Study Teams and contractual Research Organization colleagues in site contract and budget negotiations and ancillary documents.Apply and understand benchmark cost data, relationships, and trends to real-world situations.Liaise frequently with stakeholders to ensure they understand and have realistic expectations of Sourcing Operations contracting processes and systems.Partner with Legal and other divisions to manage escalations in the site contracting space.Work across groups within Business Process and Operations to implement efficient Procure-to-Pay processes with assigned suppliers.Support Pfizer's Diversity and Inclusion objectives as applicable to strategic category management within Procurement.Partner with Researchers and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement transformational business and supplier strategies that drive increased value in a financially constrained environment.Execute Pfizer's Supplier Management process in accordance with program guidelines, utilizing Continuous Improvement to drive the resolution of issues and improve supplier performance.Proactively seek out opportunities for value delivery in support of stakeholder lines (savings, efficiencies, innovative technologies, new business models, etc.
).Coordinate with other functions and impacted stakeholders to assure timely implementation and compliance with the agreed-upon sourcing strategies.Support the evolution and execution of fit-for-purpose governance programs which hold vendors accountable to relationship commitments and maintain line of sight into performance and quality issues.QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience.Analytical and negotiation skills and techniques.Management skills in assessing business issues.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal interaction skills.Able to facilitate cross-functional teams.Nice-to-HaveMaster's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of sourcing.Ability to manage multiple projects, create and manage project timelines.Ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and support staff across multiple areas.Work Location Assignment: Remote - Field BasedLAST DATE TO APPLY: NOVEMBER 27th, 2024PurposeBreakthroughs that change patients' lives...
