Mission/Objectives Implement the Regional Inventory optimization strategy to ensure regional performance targets are met in accordance with global guidelines while maintaining or even improving service levels.
Implementation of processes, tools and performance management procedures following global standards in order to drive best in class inventory management.
European Key User, working with Global Supply Planning CoE to support the definition and improvement of Inventory Management processes, Systems (On Target, APO), Performance Management & Reporting (BW).
Deployment of reporting and analytics to support performance management to improve availability and to further optimize inventory leveraging on global standards.
Implementation of inventory control processes ensuring coordination and integration of efforts across operational departments (regional/global) to enhance inventory accuracy.
Proactive identification of potential Slow movers and Obsoletes with the objective to reduce the financial impact (SLOBs or Write off).
Collaboration with other SC functions (Customer Service, Logistic, Innovation, ...) to reduce end to end cost and support new product & VAP introduction and SC integrated project.
Key Responsibilities & Activities Implement the regional inventory strategy roadmap ensuring country priorities are supported.
Evaluate and set Inventory Targets for the region (Markets & Factories); optimize them as per periodical reviews according to inventory parameters leverage (Service Level, ABC/YXZ, …) and to required service levels.
Track KPIs on inventory levels/performances and publish monthly scorecards.
Provide SME support in performance analysis, reconcile inventory variances, identify root causes and corrective actions.
Facilitate the collaboration between Distribution/Supply Planning Teams; monitor that Inventory Targets are executed, drive the mobilization of the appropriate action plans to ensure results in service levels and follow up on inventory-related issues to full resolution.
Implementation of Inventory (safety stock & cycle stock) modeling across the region (On Target tool).
Create in collaboration with Global and deploy in the Region standard inventory reporting & analytics including inventory visibility & health metrics.
Establish robust standardized Inventory performance management practices, processes and root causing.
Act as key user for Global projects, processes, procedures and software solutions to drive continuous improvement in inventory management practices.
Manage and update reports identifying potential slow movers and obsoletes, preventing SLOBs and write-offs.
Makes recommendations for capturing opportunities for slow-moving SKUs or obsolete materials.
Actively contribute to the S&OP process.
Actively participate to the Rhythm Wheel scenario definition to validate target safety stock proposed.
