Intraday Power Trader

Illumia Spa is a leading power and gas trading company that has a strong presence in Europe, with further plans to globally expand our business.

To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, and be able to tackle and quickly solve problems.
The Position: If you decide to share your energy with us, you will be part of the Business Unit Renewables of Illumia, in a dynamic and rapidly evolving corporate context, responsible for building the project portfolio and managing existing projects in the energy sector.
To Do List (What You Will Do): Trade power across our active intraday markets in Europe; Contribute to creating and executing trading strategies; Take an active part in developing algorithmic trading models and quantitative models; Obtain an expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Conduct market analysis for active and new markets; Provide open and honest feedback; Required Experience (Hard Skills): A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Finance, or a similar field; At least 1 year of experience in an intraday power trading role; Good knowledge of Excel, Python, and VBA; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; Soft Skills (Preferred): Accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail; Strong interest in trading and a results-driven attitude; Able to work well under pressure; Excellent organizational and work planning skills; What to Expect: A contractual framework tailored to you, taking into account your experience and skills; A young and dynamic working environment; A set of goods and services to support you at work and at home; Cultural, sporting, and value-based initiatives and events dedicated to you; A headquarters… out of this world!
