Job Purpose
The international execution intern will follow up on all aspects of contract execution and logistics associated with physical cargo delivery, and record daily trading operations in our Integrated Trading system.
**Responsibilities**:
Execution of contracts and monitoring shipments includes relations with suppliers, customers, shipping agents, and inspection companies;
Issue documentary instructions, stock management, insurance declaration, follow-up, and settlement of claims;
**Monitoring logistics**: liaising with chartering / ship-owners / transporters and following up on shipping matters;
Ensure applicable and adequate financial security of payment is in place and compliant with contractual terms before goods delivery (LC negotiation, CAD,...);
Close coordination with Traders and ensure a smooth flow of information between various departments, particularly Shipping, Risk, Trade Finance, and other corporate Departments;
Follow EU regulations including Deforestation and Sustainability.
**Requirements**:
Rigorous, team spirit, take initiative, capable of working under pressure;
Fluent in English and Italian;
Good computer skills.
