Internship for Sustainability
Main learning areas:
You will get involved in the revision and the update of the ESG strategy according to legislative framework, international standards, and best practices. Our ESG policies and our annual sustainability report will benefit from your contribution. The project we developed for your internship will let you move your early steps also in following areas:
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of the company's operations
- Monitoring and reporting on sustainability metrics, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
- Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to sustainability in the transportation sector.
- Support to the management of the ESG corporate strategy and revision of ESG policies in cooperation with functions and departments
- Support to the definition of employee training and awareness programs to promote sustainability practices within the organization in cooperation with the HR department.
- Development of communication and dissemination activities and contents to spread sustainability strategy within the company.
- Support of external audit and assessment of customers where the sustainability topic is prevalent.
GRUBER Logistics is looking for open-minded people driven by the desire to expand their knowledge. Of course qualifications are important, but we also value your interest in sustainability topics and your proactive work approach. You will get the most out of the internship if you have following skills:
- Communication and team-building skills and disposition to dialogue
- Knowledge of sustainability matters and ESG pillars, in particular on social sustainability and governance
- Understanding of social risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategiess
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and international standards for social sustainability and corporate governance.
- Skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to sustainability
- Language proficiency in Italian and English. German is a plus.
