Position Job description: International Trader Africa

Products: Corrugated base paper, kraft sack paper, pulp

Organisation: Direct cooperation with the management, support by qualified experienced employees

Task: We are looking for a dynamic trader personality. The goal is to expand the business in all aspects.

Responsibility for conceptual and operational trading in pulp and papers: Customer potential analyses, supplier evaluation, pricing policy, sales planning, logistics and framework agreements Budget preparation as well as coordination and communication of all measures necessary to achieve the objectives Development of partnerships with strategic suppliers / producers (core task) Profitable expansion of the market position in Africa Customer acquisition Continuous market observation Active price negotiations in purchasing, for transport services and with customers (incl. payment conditions) Professional advice and offer exemplary service Responsibility for results Trustful cooperation in the team Start: As soon as possible, taking into account existing contracts

Requirements of the candidate Requirement: Good market and product knowledge in the area of paper, containerboard and pulp in Africa

Work experience: 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in paper trading, paper distribution, converting and printing companies or paper mills

Existing customer contacts in the relevant market segments and countries

Personality characteristics: Drive and hunting instincts Strong commercial skills Independent, structured way of working Confident and skillful appearance Persuasiveness and confidence in closing deals Social competence and open-minded towards other cultures Familiar with travelling in Africa Team spirit and communication skills Integrity Languages: Very good English, French would help

Location: The headquarter of the company is in Europe with several offices around the world; working from home and travelling or working in the region. The company offers exciting tasks, a high level of personal responsibility, security, and development opportunities.
