Barilla G. R. Fratelli is looking for an International Tax Transfer Pricing Manager.
The person will have the responsibility of ensuring the proper contribution and support to the design, development, maintenance and implementation of the Group International Tax and Transfer Pricing Strategy.He/She will be the internal referent for International Tax processes within the Group Tax Control Framework and will ensure support to Group extraordinary operations (e.g.
MA, re-organization).Key AccountabilitiesEnsure appropriate contribution and support to assess whether International Tax and Transfer Pricing Strategy is aligned with Business model and organization.Ensure that appropriate and timely analysis of cross-border transactions are performed to support decision making processes providing alternatives scenarios in compliance with local and international tax requirements and with overall Group Tax Strategy.Ensure that business needs are properly understood and addressed and that international tax and transfer pricing risks are carefully considered and minimized.Act as key person and referent for other functions within Barilla Tax Control Framework for International tax and transfer pricing processes.Ensure that international tax and transfer pricing processes are properly mapped, represented and shared with all the functions involved assigning clear responsibilities and that transfer pricing risks are properly identified and controlled.Ensure appropriate contribution and support to negotiation with Tax Authorities on APAs, MAPs and other forms of dialogue and cooperation with Tax Authorities.Coordinate and manage Transfer pricing Audits within Barilla Group.Responsibility to manage and maintain Global Transfer Pricing documentation in collaboration with Internal partners and External advisors.Coordinate external advisors, ensuring proper selection according to case and contributing to continuous improvement of advisors' network.Manage Operational Transfer pricing supporting and ensuring proper use and development of IT tool according to TP policy and agreements with Tax Authorities.Keep abreast of changes in international tax and transfer pricing law which could significantly impact upon the group and likewise considering the implications developments the business may have.RequirementsUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent5+ years International Tax TP experience within consultancy firm or In HouseAbility to work in a global environment and with virtual teamsStrong analytical skills, financial analysis, data management and Excel modelingStrong understanding of OECD rules and an awareness of trendsStrong presentation and oral/written communication skills.
Able to explain complex issues to non-tax peopleAble to assist in APAs, value intangible assets and provide a defense in transfer pricing audits, providing scenarios and figuring out alternative solutions.Ability to handle simultaneous projects and work under pressure in case of need/deadlinesStrong strategic mindsetVery good relational skills, emotional intelligence and ability to lead inter-functional teamsEnglish fluency, spoken and written.
A good knowledge of Italian will be strongly preferred.Starting date: mid September.
