MBDA Italy is looking for an International Bids Manager for Initial Logistic Support.
Professional Experience

- Experience in missile and weapon system technologies
- Experience in the support of weapon systems, in the different Support Solution contracts and the different types of commitment and way to manage them
- Broad knowledge of MBDA weapon systems with their own logistic support
- Engineering degree qualified or relevant experience in logistics support management, or relevant experience in Integrated Logistics Support management, Technical Publication
Role:
- Identification of the main support assumptions linked to the MBDA's Product to be offered: Customer organization, maintenance concept, training concept, operational profile, supply chain key parameters.
- Quotation of the Initial Logistic and Support Package: from spares up to training aids, technical publications and specific support and test equipment.
- For Multi NatCo Offers, work on the consistent assumptions between all NatCo involved in the bid.
- Participate to the cost brochures requested by ITCO to cover offset requirements.
- Participate with Main Equipment Procurement (MEP) to the specification of the Initial Logistic Support Package part of the Statement of Work (SoW) requested to the Supplier (radar, truck if any,) for our GBAD offer.
- Build a database of delivered cost brochures per product in order to speed up the bidding process, to challenge relevant CSS departments and strengthen your arguments when in Convergence and Tender Vet meetings.
- Participation in Tender Vets and Finance Committees and, upon request, in Steering Committees.
- Preparation of a dedicated Annex or part of the Executive Summary, Technical Specification of the proposed offer, describing the Initial Logistic and Support Package based on a defined MBDA performance commitment.
- Participation in the negotiation with the Customer for the Initial Logistic and Support Package part of the future contract.
- Manage, develop and maintain an equal level in relationships to work in close collaboration with Sales & Business Directorate (SBD), Programmes and other MBDA stakeholders.
- Create conditions of success for export sales campaigns by challenging existing maintenance concept and support policy and by providing alternative and innovative logistic support solutions in an ever-increasing complex environment.
- Manage across the relevant CSS departments to ensure quality of the data required for bid completion and consistency of the logistic part of export commercial offers.
Academic Background:
- Engineering Degree or similar
