**Chaberton Professionals,** a division of **Chaberton Partners** dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for **Internal** **Logistics and Scheduling Manager** for the italian branch of a multinational company.
**Main Activities**:
- Propose & implement the direction of the manufacturing logistics department
- Production scheduling and manufacturing logistics
- Define the necessary organisation and resources in accordance with the factory blueprint for the manufacturing logistics function to achieve its goals and ambition.
- Ensure an internal and external benchmark to make the department progress
- Define the annual targets of the department (operational, quality, health etc...)
- Define the annual action plan of the manufacturing logistics team including the training needed for the team to achieve the goals
- Define the management routines of the department to ensure correct communication top down and bottom up
- Manage the performance and the development of his/her collaborators
- Communicate all group information to his/her team
- Define the details actions and projects in line with the annual action plan for manufacturing logistics
- Guarantee the performance and group standardization of the activities of goods in, goods out, transport, storage, line commissioning as well as the management of external logistics partner for parts and subset warehousing if any.
- Be responsible of the stock accuracy for the plant, manage the yearly inventory.
- Manage products VSM for the factory to ensure a continuous decrease of lead-time in line with customers' needs
- Ensure the continuous improvement of the activity by involving the whole team
- Propose and define with HS department the safety rules for the manufacturing logistics team
- Guaranty the training and the rules follow up by the team
- Define the action plan to reduce the risks in the team activities
- Work in collaboration with the health department to ensure the communication and management of any health difficulties.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar role in the industrial sector
- Solid experience in Logistics and Scheduling management in production plants
- Self-motivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- People oriented, able to communicate and create trust.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of English at Professional Level
