Our partner is seeking an internal audit consultant to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies and efficiency of operations in their country programmes in the DRC, Chad and Cameroon.

Scope of the audit Assess accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and effectiveness of financial controls.Evaluate procurement process, and compliance to organisational and donor policies. Evaluate compliance to donor requirements. Requirements Qualified internal auditor, with experience undertaking internal audits and special investigations for international charities.Experience in working in Central & West Africa, and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of cultural norms and working practices in the countries of interest for the audit.
