The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our IT controls, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and identifying potential areas of risk. This role requires a deep understanding of IT systems, security protocols, and auditing processes. Your responsibilities: Defines, supervises and reports the annual IT audit plan; Conducts planned and ad hoc IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management; Analyzes and evaluates IT systems, applications, and infrastructures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement; Drafts clear and concise IT audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations for risk mitigation; Presents results and subsequent recommendations to senior management appropriately; Monitors corrective actions taken in response to audit findings to ensure they are implemented in a timely and effective manner; Follows the development of IT audit methodologies; Stays updated on relevant IT regulations and standards, such as DORA, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC, and COBIT; Participates in IT risk assessments; Provides advice and support on IT projects to ensure that controls are adequately designed and implemented; Assists in training and raising awareness among staff on IT risks and best practices in cybersecurity; Participates in cybersecurity, business continuity, and GDPR projects. Your skills, experience, and qualifications: MSc Degree in Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or an equivalent degree; 2 years of professional experience in consulting firms or in an IT company in the area of IT Audit; Good knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity auditing and controls frameworks such as COBIT, and management systems standards such as ISO 27001; Strong process and/or project management skills.
