**Position**:
Italdesign is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to become part of the ULSP body development team, with particular focus on Interiors Trim.
S/he will be responsible to coordinate, manage and ensure target achievement on the assigned competence field.
**Responsibilities**
The role requires at least up to 5 years of experience in the automotive field with the aim of coordinating a work team for the interiors trim development on ULSP projects.
S/He will take an active part in:
- Ensuring the integration and the required performance of the different vehicle systems, within the competence field;
- Ensuring/monitoring the robustness of the Data released for tooling kick off and production;
- Management/coordination of the work team, including cooperation with other departments and product suppliers;
- Ensure alignment on technical specifications between team work, departments and customers;
- Defining/monitoring a time/budget planning and managing project workload;
- Achievement of the project's technical objectives relevant for the competence field;
- Management of "escalation" process on issues related to the competence field.

**Key requirements**
- Knowledge of Body and Trim development for production, with particular focus on interiors trim;
- Knowledge of materials and production technology;
- Knowledge of tooling lead time;
- Knowledge of main characteristic affecting target/performances;
- Knowledge on how to deal and interprete Design model;
- Decision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership style;
- Ability to transform technical contents/targets into economic / geometric constraints into feasible process solutions;
- Ability to manage component and system suppliers.
**Preferential requirements**
- Technical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and data release systems);
- Quality standards, processes, dynamics according to customer (OEM) process and requirements;
- Problem solving and ability to synthesize information;
- Priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience;
- Ability to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;
- Legislative/homologation/rating constraints;
- Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions;
- Knowledge of component validation methods and procedures (e.g.
testing specifications);
- Ability to transfer methodology and know how in her / his own project team and to the rest of the department team.
**Other information**:
- **Education**: Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials Engineering or equivalent
- **Language skills**: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
Knowledge of German would be appreciated
