**Position**:
The **Product Manager** is responsible for the product planning and the execution throughout the whole lifecycle of product of the **Lifestyle and Home **accessories** (tableware, glasses, cutlery, decorative objects).
He/she works closely with the Design teams, the industrialization and the external suppliers and assures the flawless outcome of the product, respecting the delivery deadline and the quality standards required by the Company.
**Responsibilities**:
**Prototypes**
- Collaborates with the Design team to share and understand the design style
- Collaborates in the suppliers' selection and management process to create prototypes, guaranteeing the respect of allocated timing and the achievement of quality aims
- Participates in costs negotiation with the external suppliers and the compilation of cost sheets
- Contributes to search for new materials by coordinating with the Design
**Sample Collection**
- Manages relationships with suppliers and ensures compliance with sample production times
- Verifies and monitors that the samples items are in line with those required and respect the quality standards, also managing the implementation of possible changes.
**Pre-Production**
- Participates in the products review in collaboration with the Senior Product manager.
- Ensures that the quality level is in line with the standard required.
**Profile**:
- At least 5-6 years of previous experience in the as Product Specialist focused on Home Accessories category
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office, ProJ, PLM and/or SAP;
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) and French as a plus
- Excellent result oriented, customer focus, integrity, reliability and interpersonal skills;
- Willing to travel in Italy to visit subsidiaries and suppliers.
