We are looking for an Interiors Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of interiors & Ad Personam.
You will be responsible to ensure the engineering of interiors components in your responsibility by respecting the stated date of release within the overall project timetable.
Ensuring engineering of interiors components within a specific project by managing a team of internal or external CAD designers/engineering partnersApproving the Prototype release (with consequent start of forward sourcing activities, prototypal parts production and testing activities)Supporting for technical issues, Purchasing Dept during series suppliers/partners selection (forward sourcing)Performing feasibility analysis (virtual, digital mock up)Producing and update technical documentation by ensuring proper archiving (designs, CAD 3D data, tech specs)Helding relationship with external suppliers/partners during the complete development (for technical issues)Supporting Proto/Test specialists during testing activities on physical prototypes to get approval (validation) by respecting B release milestone within the overall projectDefining a technical BOM (for parts under his/her responsibility) by indicating lead time for part engineering, date of availability of new components, needed lead time for functional testsPresenting request for modifications within the SETs (simultaneous engineering team)Participating to cross functional process for parts development with interface with the involved areas of the companySupporting the activities for the Interior SET with documents preparationAbout you University degree in EngineeringAt least 5-6 years of experience in similar roleExperience in Engineering, development, validation of Interiors in Automotive companies (OEM or Tier 1)Development of safety components in automotive companies (OEM or Tier1)Knowledge of Catia V5, Office pack, Interiors components engineering and developmentEngineering and development of interiors as a plusFully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatoryRelational/inter functional workPlanning and organizational skillsTeamworkingWhat we offer Holistic Well-Being programParenthood programSpecific job posting for internal employeesAccess to qualified Learning pathsApply nowFill in the form below and send your application.
