You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the Public Works Business Line (PWBL) of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA. In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Provide technical support on water quantity/quality solutions, project design/construction and wastewater systems;Solve engineering problems associated with the operation of water and wastewater systems (i.e., contaminant level and proper disposal, simple to advanced water treatment processes, emission of pollutants into the atmosphere, wastewater collection and treatment system, neutralization process system, disinfection, filtration and advanced drinking water treatments);Advise personnel on water quality problems associated with domestic and industrial wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal including potable water system operations at shore installations;Provide training and guidance on water and wastewater treatment operations and maintenance programs.Note: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.
