All about the role:
Primary focus and responsibility of the Integrated Business Planning Lead role for Italy is to manage a robust and consistent demand forecasting process within the local market, coordinate monthly cycle discussions with Sales teams, and drive improvements on Sales Forecast Accuracy.
What you'll do:
Drive consensus meetings with the key stakeholder and sign off meetings at local level.
Drive one-on-one meetings with the Sales team to prepare for monthly planning cycle.
Understand and report in local forums the volume changes vs previous MDA B2B monthly planning cycle.
Analyse Sales Forecast Accuracy results, understand the root-cause, report conclusions in local forums and drive improvement.
Represent the Commercial Area in local forums related to Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Product Launch Management.
Analyse external data and report conclusions in local forums.
Resolve operational issues with local commercial teams.
Facilitate local level meetings, monitor stock levels and overstock situation.
Manage and execute the monthly demand forecasting process at customer, proactively driving forecast accuracy and minimizing bias.
Analyze and challenge Sales and Product Management forecasts, identify demand trends, and understand business activities to initiate actions for improving forecast accuracy.
Act as the key contact for business and Product Management stakeholders, closely collaborating on promotions, campaigns, and initiatives impacting the demand forecast outlook.
Oversee Product Lifecycle Management, managing product introductions, phase-ins, and phase-outs to ensure the demand forecast remains aligned with portfolio changes.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as Demand Planner or in a comparable role
Experience in managing and analyzing data and identify trends, (statistical) product demand forecasting, including product lifecycle planning, incorporating promo activities and events, and doing trend analysis.
Ability to build a strong network with the different key stakeholders of the S&OP process (Supply Chain, Business, Product Management, Production Plants, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills, high degree of energy and resilience, continuous improvement mind-set and openness to change management.
Good understanding of a typical demand planning IT environment and working with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) DP (Demand Planning) module or other planning tools.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field desirable.
Fluency in Italian language.
