Our Client is an international renowned designer and supplier of Steam Methane Reformers (SMRs), Direct Fired Heaters, Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRUs), Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), Once Through Steam Generators (OTSGs), supported by comprehensive installation and Aftermarket services. In order to boost the business, we are looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - to design Direct Fired Heaters, Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRU), define Auxiliary Components and support the technical proposals for major international tenders.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of proposal content (narratives, P&IDs, instrument lists, BOM) to support the tendering process for fired and unfired heat transfer equipment; both new installations and the upgrade/revamp of existing. Review of customer specifications to ensure compliance. Preparation of enquiries, evaluation of sub-supplier quotations, development of the BIH supply chain and onboarding of new suppliers. Preparation of cost estimates used for the basis of budgetary and firm lump-sum quotations. Support the tendering process through to order placement – including the revision of documentation, address clarifications, attending bid-clarification and pre-award meetings. Provide project support through execution – including preparation & review of engineering documentation, participation in review meetings/HAZOP/SIL assessments, inspection of materials, FAT/SAT attendance. Provide commissioning and start-up assistance, troubleshooting and optimisation of BIH and non-BIH equipment. Development of BIH services and supply chain to extend our portfolio of products.
