ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL DESIGN ENGINEER - OIL & GAS INDUSTRY Location: Florence
Roles & Responsibilities: Review contractual technical documentation and requirements Preparation of engineering deliverables including Specifications, Instrument Lists, Instrument Datasheets, Logic Diagrams etc Inter-disciplinary document comments and reviews Provide inputs and review of engineering drawings and documents including Instrument Location Plans, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routings, Layouts, Instrument Installation Details, Process / Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Fieldbus Segment Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams etc Liaison with System Engineers Attend interface meetings with Clients and Vendors to progress design scopes Work Experience Technical Diploma / BSc / MSc Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Automation Engineering;
Knowledge of CAD tools (ideally Siemens NX); Knowledge on electrical installation and cable routing advantageous; Learn, understand, and apply our Customer's standard procedures; A Turbomachinery background will be advantageous but not mandatory Good command of English language (i. e. B2); Desired Skills: Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability Excellent documentation and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent team-work attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Teamwork Availability for business travels (short & long term travels) Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines
