The partner: We are looking for an Instrumentation and Control System Engineer for amultinational company operatingin thefield ofautomated connection and electrification systems for ports, airports and industry worldwide.
The role: Define the tasks of the system on the basis of the functional specification and electricaldiagram.
Design of the automation system architecture and selection of the automation hardware (sensors and actuators, motor drives, other automations devices).
Participate to the outline the electrical schematic for LV control panels (LV/MV powerswitchgears would be a plus).
Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization.
Issue of the relevant technical project documentation.
Selection of field instruments and sensors.
Start up on site when required.
Training to the Operators on site when required.
Technical support to service team for trouble shooting on site job.
Partecipate to products qualification, validation (testing), and certifications (Class approval) activities.
Job requirements Mandatory skills: Proficiency in selecting sensors and actuators based on project requirements andspecifications.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues related to sensors, actuators, and motor drives.
Experience with programming motor drives and setting programming parameters (ABB,Siemens, Vacon-Danfoss, Yaskawa).
Knowledge of relevant programming languages and software tools for testing andanalysis.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations related to sensor technology and motor drives.
PLC programming background (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Beckhoff) will be a plus Other info Location: Nova Milanese (MB), travel required up to 30%.
