JOB PURPOSE: The Institutional Partnerships Lead is a senior position designed to support SC Italy's institutional funding ambition and will be responsible for the development and coordination of institutional partnerships with key institutional donors for international programs. This role includes: contributing to the development and implementation of the institutional fundraising strategy under the supervision of the Head of Institutional and Transformational Partnership and Funding; coordinating the Institutional Partnerships team to ensure targets and objectives are met for each specific donor/account; overseeing the donors' engagement strategies; and representing SC Italy in account management groups as relevant.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Contributes to the development and management of Institutional Partnership strategy. Coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of Institutional donors' engagement objectives. Supports the Account Management focal points in developing relations with consolidated Institutional partners. Ensures that relationships with Institutional Partners at field level are developed and strengthened. Identifies and develops opportunities for working with new donors. Ensures SC Italy informs and influences donor's policies and investment priorities. Facilitates the development of opportunities inter-accounts to maximize SC Italy efforts. Contributes to the development and implementation of Public-Private Partnerships. Supports the development of partnerships with stakeholders such as INGOs, local CSOs, and universities. Resource Mobilization: Ensures timely identification of Institutional Fundraising opportunities. Coordinates the monitoring and screening of funding opportunities. Ensures quality analysis of opportunities at the GO-NO-GO stage. Conducts regular donor strategic analysis. Collaborates with the Account management Focal point for planning appropriate LOE. Representation and Internal Coordination: Represents SC Italy within the SC Account Management system. Ensures collaboration with the Proposal Development team. Promotes synergies and efficient ways of working with various teams. Staff Management, Mentorship, and Development: Responsible for recruitment and staffing within the Institutional Partnership team. Ensures staff understand and perform their roles. Manages the Institutional Partnership team and evaluates direct reports regularly. Promotes a culture of learning and development. Ensures staff maintain technical skills and competencies. Promotes a culture of wellbeing, safety, and security within the team. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in relevant fields. At least 5 years of experience in the INGO sector. Experience in team leading is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Writing and presentation skills, particularly in English. French knowledge is a plus. SOFT SKILLS: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Strong results orientation and problem-solving ability. Ability to present complex information succinctly. Ability to manage a varied workload in a pressured environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing contexts. Strong team player. Positive attitude and sense of responsibility. OTHER: Commitment to Save the Children's mission and principles.
