Our client, in Ann Arbor, is seeking an Institute Operations Specialist to join their team. As an Institute Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for management, coordination, and execution of education programs, quality initiatives, compliance programs and projects in collaboration with members of the Institute Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have at least intermediate administrative expertise, experience in healthcare or hospice, strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, previous experience working in a medical setting, and a standard knowledge with business office machines. Job Title: Institute Operations Specialist Location: Ann Arbor, MI Pay Range: $25.00 per hour – WEEKLY PAY What's the Job? Act as the project manager for new hire orientation and other ongoing/special projects. Manage projects as assigned by the Director, including but not limited to administration of the Learning Management system and any programs requiring administrative oversight. Document key business unit processes based on analyses, identifies business unit improvement and opportunities, and develops executive presentation materials that communicate findings. Participate in the design of system requirements and functions. Develops, designs, and administers special projects as requested. Proactively provide assistance to Institute staff members regarding proper data input procedures, development of reports and solutions to identified problems, and recommends automation of additional operations and functions as appropriate. What's Needed? Associate's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a healthcare field required. Hospice or homecare experience preferred. Six (6) to ten (10) years of business/office operations experience, including experience in managing multiple projects with differing priorities in a dynamic environment required. Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel spreadsheets and database management. Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel and maintain the rigors of a busy schedule. Frequently work variable hours/days; activities and workload may require extended days. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, effective organizational, prioritization and follow-through skills, attention to detail, tact, dependability, emotional intelligence, and the ability to promote positive, constructive relationships with communication and collaboration at all levels with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
