About the roleSells products and services typically via phone or online orders (with quotas and/or productivity needs). Assists with the proposal generation process and manages agreement renewals and product upgrades for assigned accounts. Generates leads through placing phone calls to lists of potential customers and handles 3rd party component sales. Responds to routine sales leads from sales engineers, sales reps, or managers. Sells products and/or services to commercial firms; calls on customers; demonstrates products; prepares forms and sales paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:As an Inside Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Managing a team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical/Business Support.Setting day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.Explaining policies, practices, and procedures.Supervising the activities of the staff under their responsibility, setting priorities, providing guidelines, structuring the different stages of the work undertaken in the area, providing guidance on the best decisions to be taken.Identifying training needs and training team members in order to generate expected operational results.Presenting at trade shows to increase visibility of the organization.Establishing a planned program for sales coaching, working with inside sales representatives on all aspects of the sales process.Making coaching sales calls with inside sales reps to provide feedback.Establishing clear performance expectations for the inside sales team. Using standards to assess the behavior, activities, and performance of each team member. Providing consistent feedback to motivate the team toward improved performance.Analyzing booking/sales/shipment monthly to ensure all orders are met.Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.RequirementsWe are looking for people who are, as a minimum, you must have:
