Position Description
To strengthen our team in Italy, we are looking for an Inside Sales/Sales Rep to drive and grow sales for the QIAGEN portfolio within selected focused Accounts in Italy. We are recruiting for a home office position, looking for candidates to be based in Italy. We are ONLY looking for candidates that are under the Categoria Protetta.
Key Responsibilities
Budget achievement through identifying prospective buyers of the company's products and services within defined customers in Italy. This activity will require a high level of business development and the implementation of strategic planning in defined accounts. Be able to clearly identify and interpret customer's requirements, shape and align their requirements to QIAGEN's capabilities and position our solutions effectively. Build customer relationships by driving customer satisfaction and increasing QIAGEN's competitive advantage by building trust and relationships. Effective weekly/monthly planning of phone calls/zoom meetings, plus field activities (20% of the time) and provide accurate sales forecasts to sales manager via biweekly forecast calls and company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Maintain and expand local market knowledge including technology trends, commercial awareness of competitors, latest patient guidelines and testing recommendations. Position Requirements
Bachelor of Science, PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology. 3+ years of sales experience as Inside Sales within the Academia/Life Science market. Proven sales record that shows the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Fluent in Italian and English. Knowledge of relevant local markets. Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities and undertake challenging tasks and/or projects. Ability to work with several stakeholders in a structured and organized fashion. Willingness to travel across Italy 3-4 days a month. What We Offer
