Inside Sales Account Manager – Italy (Milan) Closing Date: 31st May 2024 The role As Inside Sales Account Manager here at Illumina, you will have ownership of inside sales acros s part of the region and taking responsibility for implementing a strategy to develop the existing accounts , and sourcing new ones, working together with Field Sales and your Inside Sales Manager to maximise revenue on your territory.
The Inside Sales Account Manager will be an onsite position in Milan.

Responsibilities will include Manages the customer sales process for specific territories and accounts via phone and email.
Potential to do field visits as required to help advance opportunities.
Meets sales targets and is responsible for accurate forecasting and maintaining up-to-date contact and opportunity information in CRM database Engages with existing customers and qualified sales leads, guiding customers to the Illumina products that best meet their needs, coordinating with internal resources to address customer questions or objections, providing budgetary pricing, creating and submitting individualized quotes and closing the sales process through the point of order receipt Working either individually or together with the Lead Generation Specialist team on prospecting activities to find new accounts and develop new opportunities Works collaboratively with the wider sales team including TAMs, ISAMs, Sales Specialists and Service Contracts team Establishes and maintains strong, positive, productive relationships with customer accounts including product end-users, management and purchasing contacts Tracks and reports on all activities to managers Preferred background, skills , and experience Fluency in English and Italian required Knowledge of Genetic analysis techniques (PCR / NGS / Sanger etc) Able to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills - articulate and quick thinking Team goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics.
