KNDS Ammo Italy S.p.A. is looking for a new resource to join the Quality Department.The company takes up the century-old legacy of Colleferro Defense industrial context, while at the same time becoming part of the KNDS Group and its dynamics as a multinational company aiming to become a leader in the European Defense Industry.Job Mission:Quality engineers review existing processes in order to identify opportunities for reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
As necessary, they investigate the root causes of problems, develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.The goal of quality engineers is to maintain the production process as efficiently and effectively as possible while still ensuring that the finished products are safe, dependable, and satisfy customer expectations.
They design quality tests, develop the documentation, and test procedures, keep track of quality standards, and specify the requirements that a test result must satisfy.
Quality engineers keep an eye on a process's quality and are crucial in resolving problems when they come up.Job Tasks:At every stage of the manufacturing process, quality engineers collaborate with various stakeholders, such as testing by design teams, to determine product robustness and weak points.They engage with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and parts match the company's quality standards.Teams in charge of manufacturing make sure that tools and procedures adhere to set quality standards.They set out the relevant tests and acceptable findings to ensure adequate quality testing throughout the production process.They analyse complaints received through consumer feedback, keep track of events, and change production as necessary.It is under the quality engineer's responsibility to thoroughly document any errors and collaborate with other departments to identify solutions.Quality engineer has to coordinate all departments to ensure that the product is up to date.Requirements:Education: degree in mechanical engineering.Experience: 3+ yearsHard Skills:English language (B2)Knowledge of the six sigma method (green belt)Experience in quality control productionSoft Skills:Able to work independentlyAbility to meet targetsProblem solvingDecision makingWhat we offer:You will find a dynamic and fast-growing environment, in which the company is aiming to enhance the resources that will drive the KNDS of the future.Professional development opportunities / Health insurance / Company canteen / Shuttle service from Colleferro station / Flexible hours and Hybrid work model (SW).The KNDS group promotes inclusion and enhances the individuality of each person, combating any form of discrimination.Permanent contract with a salary consistent with the actual experience of the identified candidates.
