Infrastructure ArchitectOur client, a global technology leader in the automatic data capture and factory automation markets, is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Architect to join their IT department.
Role & ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the entire ICT team, the position will be responsible of all Infrastructure Architecture and play a key part in ongoing upgrades and consolidation of our core services such as:
Private & Public Cloud designGlobal Network design based on SD-WAN TechnologyBranch Offices / Production Plant IT infrastructure design.Support the infrastructure manager in identifying and proposing any developments/upgrades of the IT Infrastructure defining a solid business case and manage end to end implementation.Ensure the operation of the IT Infrastructure minimizing service interruptions defining and implementing the technical solutions required.Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructureEnsure optimal performance and efficiency of cloud resourcesConfigure virtual machines, storage, and other infrastructure components in the cloudEstablish and maintain secure and efficient network connectivityContribute to maintaining and improving the IT Infrastructure procedures in line with Company standards and technological evolution.
Key SkillsStrong technical abilities and attention to detail with the ability to document the business case for proposed solutions.Ability to grasp issues of a business nature and explain technical issues in business language.Design reliable processes for installing / rebuilding existing servers, virtual infrastructure, network, configuring services, directories and enterprise storage.Identify and implement efficient and reliable system standards.Design Private & Public Cloud environments for service continuity and performance.Excellent knowledge of systems management, virtualization, storage, and networking.Good knowledge of MS Windows Platform, ADFS, SSO and LinuxExperience in VMware virtualization suite and SD-WAN solutions technologies.Good knowledge of network infrastructure (routing e switching) based on Cisco technology.Knowledge of Azure and GCP Cloud platform are considered a plus.This is a permanent job position with competitive compensation and benefits.
