Join the Web Services and Technologies (WST) team in UNIT! The Information Technology Technician I – Application Developer will be tasked with assisting WST with the development and support of functionality for the University's digital presence. Opportunities include hands-on web and application experience developing services and solutions to support the Villanova community while working side-by-side with professional University IT (UNIT) staff.
Tasks: Oversee Service Request/Incident queueAssist with the upkeep of the University website and web portalCorrect broken links, spelling errors and investigate accessibility issuesCreate and update content/assets for end usersMaintain Document Asset Management (DAM) repositoryAssist with removal of content and any archiving requestAssist with documentationComplete routine audits of mobile application content for permission updates, content relevancy and accuracy, and fixing broken linksAssist with quality assurance and user acceptance testingSupport and train end users with the Document Management SystemAssist end users with creation of and issues related to E-Forms and workflowAssist end users with account requests and updates within directory servicesOther tasks as assignedRequirements: General technical knowledge to support infrastructure and development. Experience with Office 365, Web Analytics, content editing, and familiarity with Content Management Systems preferred. Open to both Undergraduate and Graduate students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Candidates that can work year-round are preferred. UNIT will provide training.
