CoFren' site is a leading manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains. You will be reporting to the Site Director and work closely with the Production Manager. How will you make a difference? As an Industrialization and Manufacturing Engineer , you'll assist the Operations to help design and oversee installation and maintenance of new technology to improve and automate the manufacturing process. You will also be responsible for designing and testing automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks inside the factory (this can include new systems and upgrades to existing facility equipment). What will your typical day look like? Design and automate machinery and processes, including robots and material handling systems. Develop and install condition-based monitoring (CBM) systems. Write project descriptions detailing function, benefits, and costs for management approval. Order equipment, create detailed designs, and program new automated components. Supervise project installation, system startup, and conduct testing. Identify and correct quality and safety issues, and eliminate defects in products and software. Conduct routine maintenance and support system upgrades. Participate in Lean Manufacturing programs, Kaizens, and other team events. Enter new data into production systems and perform other duties as assigned. What do we want to know from you? Technical diploma in electrical, mechanical or electronic field. 3 years of industrial experience. Solid understanding of computer programming and software development. Good knowledge of general industrial disciplines including hydraulics, pneumatics, plant safety and processes, and industrial process systems, and of electrical power wiring design principles, VFDs, and other common electrical equipment. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Good organization, creative thinking and verbal and written communication skills. Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
