Position Summary: The Industrial & Financial Controller will deal with the management of product cost control and analysis activities, valorization of bills of materials, updating of processing cycle rates, and determination of standard product costs, inventory valuation on a monthly basis.
The Industrial Controller will coordinate and actively participate in the month-end closing process as well as in drafting Budget and Forecast.

Key Job Responsibilities: Under the control of the Italian Finance Director and in cooperation with the Accounting Department.
Posting of determined IFRS adjustment entries (month-end close).
Preparation of the reporting package and its annexes as well as Statutory financial statements.
Cash flows reporting.
Participation in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Product cost maintenance, analysis, and reporting.
Optimization analysis.
Preparation of business cases and investment analysis.
Ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.
Collaboration with other departments about economic and financial issues.
Support for the auditors during internal/tax/external audits.
Improvement of financial processes and decreasing financial risks.
Being the back-up for the Finance Director during his absence.

Education and Work History: Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related area.
Previous experience in industrial management control, preferably in the food industry, equal to at least 5 years.
Experience working with international companies.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP.
Ability to learn quickly, possess high problem-solving skills, and take a proactive approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English.
Flexibility and a positive attitude, able to cope with difficult situations.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Knowledge of accounting principles under Local GAAP and IFRS.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Close to Modena or willing to relocate; regular travels to Monterotondo (RM) to our plant #2.
