Industrial Engineering Specialist
This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italy division which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market, shipping from Formello (Rome), Liscate (Milano), and two new facilities coming in Passo Corese (Rieti) and Somaglia (Lodi).

In the role of Industrial Engineer, you will provide analysis support for business and operational performance data and will produce information and reports that will give management tools for planning and decision-making.
We're offering a permanent contract to a skilled worker who wants to take the responsibility to make sure the business process reengineering and project technical reviews are done in the best way to fit internal and external customer expectations.

What you'll do:
In charge of designing and analyzing warehouse layout Evaluate effectiveness of current or future logistical processes Identify and implement cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities Conduct logistics studies or analyses, such as time studies, zero-base analyses, rate analyses, network analyses, flow-path analyses, or supply chain analyses Conduct self-assessment within the IE department Support new business implementations Create work instructions and Master Operating Plans (MOP) Create corrective/preventive action plans to address KPI shortfalls Create and maintain operation dynamic dashboards and daily operating reports including but not limited to: Daily P&L, Productivity Report, Facility Utilization What you'll get:

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) Exposure to types of warehouse management systems (WMS) Ability to work independently in identifying solutions to problems and prioritizing tasks Previous work experience or study in logistics fields Education: Preferably Economics or Industrial Engineering Experience: Generally, >2 years logistical experience in transportation, warehousing, or other related logistics operations preferred Language knowledge: Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken, is essential Some travel may be required How we recruit:
