Position Overview: The Industrial Engineering Specialist is responsible for analyzing internal manufacturing processes, identifying wastes and inefficiencies, driving improvement actions, increasing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and reducing costs. He/She collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Maintenance, and Quality departments, supporting new projects and technological upgrades to comply with product specifications and meet customer needs. He will also manage the stamping production and their maintenance at suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities: Implement and maintain standard work operations along all the production processes and assembly lines.Participate in projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processes.Engage in value stream analysis through kaizen events and implementation of lean projects to improve on-time delivery, 5S, compliance to safety norms, and adherence to cost objectives.Work on the floor to improve operations KPI (cycle times, productivity, space utilization, shop floor and line design codes, etc.).Implement and maintain master data, routing, BOMs.Manage sheet metal stamping, collaborating with external suppliers and internal maintenance.Handle sheet metal stamping drawings management using CAD 2D.Manage stamping suppliers.Tools and Processes: Standard Specification for Purchased Equipment and tools.Standard Work to achieve best cost, quality, and performance.Plant Layout and/or Process Change.OEE and utilization.Total Productive/Preventive Maintenance, AM for Equipment and Tools.5S.Takt time.Basic Problem Solving.Process document procedures for process specs, control plans.NPD checklist for Manufacturing Engineering.Qualifications: Engineering degree required (Mechanical or related fields).Fluent in English with conversation and writing skills.Preferably with a minimum working experience in manufacturing companies.Key Competencies: Knowledge of technical drawing.Mechanical process knowledge.Strong execution ability to get the work done within target, time, and budget.Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external colleagues.Project management.Knowledge of lean methodologies preferred.Technical knowledge on re-design of production and assembly processes preferred.Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.Knowledge of stamping process is an advantage.Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.We Celebrate Who We Are!
