RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES
- Develop powerful, creative eyewear concepts that fulfill and implement themselves into the strategic initiatives of the company.
- Develop sketches and technical drawings for prototyping and manufacturing overseas. - Manage prototyping details, execution, fitment, etc.
- R&D based on seasonal trends, yearly projections, line plans, markets, color projections, and other factors. - Working closely with designers, product developers, and merchandising, creative, marketing, and other crossfunctional teammates including vendors.
- Help support the development and creation of tech packs.
- Support cross-functional teams by creating 3D models that can be utilized across various platforms.
- Support in the design process and color-choice approval.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Education: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Fashion, Accessories, or Industrial Design.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience. Eyewear experience is a plus.
- Familiarity in working within global companies and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity in working with injected plastics.
- Software Skills: CAD, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator/Photoshop) 3D Programs (C4D, Keyshot, Rhino, etc.) - Languages: Fluent in both English and Italian (verbal and written)
