About the role Our Industrial Digital Transformation team, composed of 8 people, is integrated in the Group Operations department and focuses on creating value through the application of digital technologies in the industrial sites in collaboration with the Transformation Office, GEC, DT and GBUs.
As an Industrial Data Domain Lead, reporting to the Industrial Digital Transformation Manager, you will work on driving a successful implementation of data management initiatives across the Industrial data domain.
You will be accountable for: Lead and continuously implement effective and efficient governance processes and controls within the Industrial Team in coordination with the Data Management team at Enterprise level.
Define the data architecture tools to be used for different use cases (e.g.
Dashboarding, Data Quality, Data Governance) and establish rules to ensure the use of standards across the Industrial Team, ensuring alignment with architecture principles and Enterprise Architecture.
Manage and orchestrate the lifecycle of the templates for the visualization tools (PI Vision, SEEQ, PowerBI) to enable the transversal digital transformation activities across all GBUs / sites.
Support the PI AF data definition as structure, hierarchies and lifecycle management and coordinate with the impacted data roles.
Orchestrate the validation of changes to the PI AF template.
Continuously enrich the business glossary and ensure the alignment and conflict management of business terms that are transversal to various domains/subdomains.
Drive the implementation of the Data Quality capabilities for Industrial focusing on operational time series and engineering data (processes, governance, tools) aligned to Solvay's governance and principles.
Responsible for ongoing monitoring through the Data Quality KPIs and ensuring action plans are in place to address data quality issues.
Identify and propose candidates to the data roles needed to ensure proper governance and data quality of Industrial Data across GBUs/sites.
Monitoring the effectiveness of data governance implementation and Data Quality processes and communicate the progress to the Data Management team at Enterprise level.
Ensure alignment with other data initiatives and projects across the organization.
We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model in any of the following locations: Portugal, Spain or Italy with the availability to travel around 20% of the time.
About you Relevant education degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Management / Data Governance / Data Quality.
Industrial background is a plus.
Competencies: Experience in PIMS, MES, operational Time series and engineering data is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Data and Data Quality platforms.
Behaviors: Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at the industrial plants World-Wide and Corporate level.
Adaptable and open to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills of establishing and managing processes, adapting them as necessary, and leading productive, inclusive meetings that foster collaboration and decision-making.
About the pay and benefits Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
While the base pay reasonably expected for this role in Portugal goes from 44,880 EUR to 56,000 EUR, in Spain from 64,000 EUR to 79,200 EUR and in Italy from 58,320 EUR to 72,000 EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
