Indirect Global Commodity Buyer

MTA S.p.A is looking for an Indirect Global Commodity Buyer to join the team.The role requires the suppliers management of the following categories:•CAPEX and INVESTMENTS, PDU, ECU and Cluster assembly lines, SMT lines for PCB-electronic components (Pick&Place, SPI-AOI, ICT, THT, pressfit); injection moulding and punching press machines; facility management, Lab equipments and devices, packaging.•SERVICES, as Engineering, HSE, HR, several Consultancies, maintenance, testing, training, transports, warehouse, softwares and IT platforms, cars & forklifts rental, utilities, cleaning, canteen, stationeries.Responsibilities:•In charge of the above mentioned commodity, including RFQ, negotiation, business bundling, project award, orders, contracts and supplier database management;•Define global commodity strategy and align with local buyers in the Regions;•Proactive with Cost Reduction ideas and Price Negotiation with assigned suppliers;•Cooperate with all departments for services, investments, machines, equipements procurement;•Cooperate with Engineering and Plants to identify the best technical and economical solution for Capex;•Management and optimization of the Group Investment Planning;•In charge for Change Management for machines and equipments;•Cost analysis and benchmarking for the main commodities;•Point of contact for any commercial, strategic communication and escalation with Supplier, including reporting to Top Management in dedicated meetings.Main requirements:•Master degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Management Engineering, Economics;•Previous experience as Indirect Materials / CaPex Commodity Buyer (3-5 years) or Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer;•Fluent English language and Italian; nice to have other foreign language;•Required background from Tier-1 international industrial companies or tier-2 midsize commodity firms.Skills:•Results oriented and entrepreneurial mindset;•Good leadership and passionate for challenges;•Problem solving and analytical approach;•Good knowledge of technical aspects and/or quality preferably;•Team member and proactive;•Interest for new cultures and available for international business trips.Work location: Codogno (LO), Rolo (RE), Cinisello Balsamo (MI), Torino (TO) or Isola Vicentina (VI)
