How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Buyer (F/M) to join our Procurement Team.
As an Indirect Buyer, you will have the opportunity to ensure the deployment of category strategies and execute the sourcing process for local categories.
Your responsibilities will include: To apply sourcing strategy or instructions defined by the category managers if existing: You will work closely with the Category Manager in defining category strategy; analyze and challenge specifications with requesters.
Prepare fact-based negotiations and define roles to be played by Air Liquide stakeholders in front of suppliers.
You will drive optimization of tactical and strategic sourcing processes, lead negotiations with selected suppliers & manage contracting of globally selected suppliers.
Contract Implementation and Management: Share and explain to Internal Local Customer Managers for deployment and appropriate execution in the system, follow up contract implementation.
Contract Management (application of price escalation formulas, volume rebate collection, products and services portfolio management, progress clauses, renewal etc.
), including update of procurement database (contracts, catalogs...).
You will manage contractual compliance, incidents, and claims.
Supplier Relations Management: Lead SRM activities for relevant suppliers of your category (supplier strategy, review and audit incl.
financial solidity, innovation initiatives, internal promotion of supplier, supplier days) in line with SRM framework.
Manage supplier relationships (Guarantees, Penalties, Claims, Supplier Reviews, Performance and risks management with European Procurement Directors in case of complex situations).
Contribute to supplier performance evaluation.
Animate the supplier qualification and audit process in collaboration with Inspection teams, HSEQ, and Technical experts.
Contribute to supplier risk identification and mitigation to ensure compliance with risk mapping.
Stakeholders management: Develop and manage relationships with internal customers.
Consolidate internal customer feedback on category strategies and also on Supplier Performance.
Lead working sessions with internal customers to identify TCO reduction opportunities.
You will boost influence and recognition of the procurement function within the community of Business Stakeholders.
Reporting: Consolidate and present sourcing action plan to your Management and when needed to related Category Manager.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct periodic surveys to measure internal customer feedback for continuous improvement, Undertake corrective actions to improve performance and also contract compliance.
Are you a MATCH?
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in procurement, and proven experience in a similar role as an Indirect Buyer, ideally within the healthcare sector.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Legal Studies.
Fluent in English (B2-C1 level).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Problem-solving mindset and solution-oriented.
High reactivity and proactivity at the same time.
Decision-making skills, Strategic thinking, Innovation & Flexibility, Negotiating and Persuasive skills.
