The Role Incoming Department Intern The intern candidate will support the manager for:
Maintaining relationships/portfolios with existing WTW network clients focusing on expanding existing business within the business unit. Maintaining relationships with WTW network and clients about Italian insurance peculiarities. Developing relationships with prospects introduced by WTW network worldwide. Main Duties: Supporting day-to-day client service, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers, and WTW network, communicating by voice as well as email (including contract reviews, placement of cover under WTW global programs, negotiation and arrangement of local policies as required, issuance of evidence(s) of insurance, and ongoing servicing following placement). Understanding the client's business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service. Understanding WTW's global insurance program and utilizing it in accordance with the client HQ's insurance and risk management philosophy. Maintenance of information on the client database. Supporting the manager on client/WTW network presentations. Supporting the interpretation and review of quotations to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needs. Supporting the negotiation of terms and cover alterations with insurers and presentation to the client. Completion of reports as required. Completion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client/network). Supporting activities with clients and insurers to address and resolve issues. Supporting liaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed. The Requirements: Educated to degree level. Fluent in English (oral and written). Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the client and insurers.
