MIKI Travel Agency Italia srl is looking for a candidate to join our Inbound operation Section Job Purpose Liaising with sales offices in Japan & Asia and servicing offices in Europe to ensure high standard of service quality in Italy.
Booking and amending services.
Main Responsibilities You will be working closely with the coach/meal/entrance/guide/coordination team and other departments within the company.
You will be liaising with sales offices in Japan & Asia and operating tours in Italy ensuring high standard of service quality along with the following duties: Booking and confirming requested ground services.
Checking itineraries and making sure schedules are feasible Negotiating Rates and service conditions.
Collecting service information for clients and sales' use.
Recommend ground services to sales in Japan & Asia Validating service invoice and answering payment inquiry from suppliers.
Monitoring the quality of suppliers through services provided.
To carry out any other duties or ad-hoc projects as requested by the management.
Person Specification Have at least one year experience in travel industry, ideally in group travel industry, but this is not essential.
Highly organised, able to deliver quickly and accurately Good verbal and written communication skills Italian as mother tongue, Fluency in English,.
Ability to adapt to diverse, multi-cultural and constantly changing environment Able to work under pressure A strong 'can do' attitude with willingness to learn and positive approach towards work and team members Strong problem solving and communication skills Good work ethic and ability to drive result through other Good knowledge of Italian destinations Application only for residents in Rome and the province of Rome.
