ICT Service Specialist

YOUR TEAM You'd be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.
Within the team, your main task will be:
Management of service desk activities and assistance to user problems, both on-site and remotely.
Management of IT infrastructure, Windows and Linux server, Storage and Backup.
Installation and configuration of IT assets.
Cooperation with the other ICT offices to manage standard changes and higher level requests.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline or a high-school diploma with experience in the IT field.
Previous experience in IT infrastructure management: Windows and Linux servers and clients.
Computer Networking fundamentals.
Virtualization and Storage systems management.
Problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of written and spoken English.ADDITIONAL SKILLS Prior experience with IT Service Management.
ITILv3 certification, or newer.
Knowledge of IT Service Management methods.
Specific knowledge of audio/video systems management for events.
Previous experience in Research Centers/Institutions.
Certifications for the required skills.
