Ict Project Manager - focus TMS: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex IT projects. The primary responsibility will be to spearhead the global implementation of a Transportation Management System (TMS) across our distribution network worldwide. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the IT project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, business goals, and stakeholder expectations. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing the initial pilot projects to test and validate the TMS functionality and performance in selected regions before full-scale deployment.
ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Pilot Projects Management: Plan and execute pilot projects in selected regions to test and validate the TMS functionality and performance before full-scale deployment.Project Planning and Scoping and Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between IT, operations, and executive leadership for the TMS implementation project and for any project-related escalations.Training and Change Management: Coordinate the development of training materials and conduction of training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system adoption.Deployment and Go-Live: Coordinate go-live activities, including cutover planning and execution.Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of the TMS implementation. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on software development and implementation best practices.PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or similar project management certification is preferred.Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics, particularly in a TMS context, is preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.Willingness to travel internationally as required.
