JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
In the Global ICT Category Team and within a strongly centralized IT portfolio, the role requires procurement strong autonomy, and accountability on managing the entire sourcing process, including related financials, KPIs and business cases, planning and executing IT initiatives, tenders, agreements and working jointly on more strategic IT business scenarios.
The position will actively support the EssilorLuxottica IT systems and budgeting integration process ensuring to get the best efficiencies in terms of economics and processes, through a direct governance of Budgeting, Forecasting and P&L impact evaluation processes.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES :
Support global IT projects in terms of technical and procurement role and responsibilities, support document preparation and presentation to C-level and on key procurement activity output. Support the implementation of the saving plan, according to the target received on assigned area of responsibility, improving coverage, tracking, and reporting of each area of savings and KPI's, partnering with Finance for validation, supporting approval process. Coordinate with Regions setting the proper guidelines for project deployment and, within the assigned area of responsibilities, both on strategic and operational P2P related needs, will actively support and address activity closure. Support the transition to a unique procurement process, helping in the adoption of new tools, contributing with own asset and knowledge to enforce the Procurement Global Team leadership. INTERNAL : IT internal stakeholders, EL Business Regional Leaders, Finance & Controlling, Legal & Compliance, Regional IT Category Managers.
EXTERNAL : Suppliers.
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
Bachelor's degree or greater, Educational Background in IT, economics or engineering At least 2 years of experience in Procurement Category Management within a multinational company environment Knowledge of the procurement processes (tender / bid, management suppliers' portfolio management, contract management, suppliers' performance evaluation and supplier risk management). Knowledge of software licensing and volume purchasing agreements for the major enterprise system software suppliers Problem solving attitude Communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Perform activities steadily maintaining objective and transparent approach every time.
