Main purpose of the role: This role is for an IAM Business Development Field Consultant within the automotive OEM parts sector for one of our main global prestige automotive clients. Based in Sicily and Calabria but will also involve travel as required for the role. The IAM Business Development Field Consultant will be responsible for aggressively driving sales in a specified territory working with OEM parts Dealerships and winning OES market share, with a focus on enhancing our current client partnership and increasing overall incremental sales revenue and profitability. Candidate Responsibilities: Increase OEM parts sales for potentially new and existing Trade Parts Dealers; Create and implement bespoke sales and marketing plans for Trade Parts Dealers; Instil best practice, and class leading sales process; Gather and feedback market analysis and competitor intelligence; Create strong & succinct business plan and deliver back to the client; Seek out and develop new parts sales channels alongside Trade Parts Dealers; Achieve and exceed revenue targets & profitability; Overall responsibility for gaining parts market share in given area. Candidate Specification (essential): 3 years' plus, sales management experience within large automotive parts wholesaler, or successful OEM Dealer with unrivalled overall parts sales knowledge; Create and execute succinct business plans; Have a strong sales mentality and gain buy in from Trade Parts Dealerships at all levels; Ability to increase OEM market share against OES competition; Sound understanding and demonstrable record of leading and developing sales with multiple OEM parts distributors; Creative approach to discovering new sales channel; Excellent knowledge of automotive parts sector (OEM / OES); Proven track record in sales and target achievement; Ability to work with OEM Trades Parts Dealers at senior stakeholder level; Strong communicator – verbal and written; Proven track record of working in a fast moving, client focussed environment; Well organised - understands how to manage multiple high priority projects; Proficient in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Ability to travel within allocated geographical area.
