[HYBRID] Insurance Territory Manager – Great Oppt. w/ a Culture-Focused, Well-Revered Company! Location: Oklahoma (50% WFH; 50% Local Travel) Salary: $85,000-$100,000 + Bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, 401k, PTO, Holidays, Company Car Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours Travel: 50% travel – company car & gas card provided (very limited overnights) Territory: Oklahoma Sponsorship is not available Description Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team and oversee their Oklahoma market. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing agency relationships including setting and monitoring goals, communicating consistently, and delivering superior levels of service. You'll split your time between nurturing relationships working from your home office with the balance of your time spent on the road making in-person visits. This role focuses heavily on account management (95%), so a well-spoken, personable demeanor is a must to ensure their existing clientele is well taken care of. After all, you'll be taking over for their current Territory Manager who has created a loyal account base during her last 25 years with the company. To ensure a seamless transition, you must be well-versed in insurance terminology and policy issuance within commercial property and casualty lines of business. Responsibilities Identify new agencies in the territory to contactCollaborate to determine contracted agency eligibilityReport findings and meeting results timely and consistentlyEvaluate and maintain contact with agents and underwritersAssist agents to help build a profitable book of businessAssist underwriting and brokers as neededConduct in-person meetings and conference calls with agency contactsMaintain a log of contacts including owners, producers, and support staffDiscuss your agency plan and call objectives with the VP of MarketingPerform special projects as assignedQualifications 4+ years commercial property and/or casualty line insurance experience requiredUnderwriting experience or insurance sales experience requiredTechnologically forward with comfort navigating multiple platforms required50% local travel required within the region (minimal overnights)
