**The team you'll be part of**
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services.
With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Microwave Lab inside X-Haul is engaged in the design of RF circuits for radios using QAM schemes up to 4096 and higher.
We design high power (40-43 dBm) radios starting from system definition up to full system test activity by means of automatic benches.
Ultimate technology components are used such as RFIC, GaAs and GaN devices.
The team is deeply in contact with other teams for system definition, configuration, production over several worldwide locations.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
You will join a microwave team to develop product, starting from concept up to release in mass production.
Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:
- take part at system definition
- be involved in circuit design by means of circuit and 3D simulators
- manage the radio from card layout to system test
- perform test with VNA, VSG, VSA and other up to date instrumentation
**Your skills and experience**
You have:
- A Master degree in electronic engineering focused on uW and analog circuits with good skills in digital
- Experience in design of LNA, PA in GaAs and GaN technology, mixed stack-up PCB layout, thermal mgmnt, 1-2 years of experience are welcome
- Understanding of system definition, requirements and their impact on design
- Teamworking skills to master the internal customers involved in the design
It would be nice if you also had:
- LabView competences for automatic measurement set-up
- DPD understanding and QAM modem architectures knowledge
