Reporting to the Laboratory Applications Team Leader, primary work is to lead the design of new HVAC/R applications, meeting performance and energy efficiency targets while balancing the requirements of safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability:
Design test equipment and test plans , create technical specifications and new test methods Deliver technical specifications for functionality and algorithms To match project development checkpoints in terms of project deliverables Requisiti:
An engineering degree is required, Energy or Mechanical
Previous working experience with HVAC/R systems involving plant/unit design Refrigeration systems (e.g. display cabinets, compressor racks, condensing units) including CO2 transcritical cycles Inverter compressors and EEV technologies P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and CAD Controllers and regulation of HVAC/R systems Excel macros, Office, thermodynamics modelling, Matlab and Simulink knowledge is appreciated Safety standards in the HVAC/R sector (EN378, IEC 60335-2-xx, PED) Problem solving skills Good English (spoken and written), technical vocabulary is required The role requires working closely with a global technical team to ensure all interactions with software, mechanical, and thermodynamics components are integrated into the functional development. The ability to work independently is also a natural part of daily activities.
